The Christmas Movie Series & Holiday Concerts
If you’re a holiday film enthusiast, your time in Sun Valley over Christmas 2023 is bound to be inspiring thanks to the arrival of the annual Christmas Movie Series! If you’re in town on December 17th, you’ll be right on time to enjoy the annual Sun Valley tree lighting ceremony that kicks off at Sun Valley Village. This sparkling event that’s designed to inspire typically kicks off at around 5:30 pm. Brunch is served from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and pictures are more than welcome! On December 24th, Sun Valley celebrates the holidays in slope-side style with the arrival of their Christmas Eve Ice Show and beloved Torchlight Parade. This time-honored area tradition is a great addition to your itinerary and includes amazing ice skaters as well as a light show of skiers with torches heading down Dollar Mountain in illuminating style. The Torchlight Parade is followed by fireworks as well, adding even more to the holiday fun!
